My Services

Website Design

I’ll design and build your practice’s website with search engine optimization. I start by consulting with you on what you’d like your brand to be about and the image you’d like to project to your would-be clients. From that point, I’ll collaborate with you on a color palette, and the overall “feel” you’d like your website to convey. (Note: the price for this service does not include any costs associated with web-hosting or your domain name)

What to Expect

Marketing & Branding

Now that your private practice is becoming a reality, we have to think of how we’re going to get would-be clients in your “door.” Basically, we’ll discuss “conversion,” meaning, taking a prospective client off the streets and converting them into a paying client. Marketing strategies will vary, especially if your practice will be insurance-based, private-pay, or a combination of both. We’ll review topics such as social media marketing, use of paid ads (e.g., Google Ads) and directories (e.g., Psychology Today, Mental Health Match, ZocDoc, etc.), SEO marketing (both on and off-page), and much more.

We’ll also review your overall branding approach – your brand is more than just your logo, color palette, or fonts. Branding also consists of the theme you are trying to exude to the public (e.g., beach-side casual marriage therapist vs. a psychiatrist providing services to high-end clientele in a major metro city). Branding also requires consistency in its marketing application (e.g. business cards and other print materials, social media platforms, person-to-person interactions, etc.). A lot of marketing and branding is trial and error, so, having an open mind and a willingness to try some new things and discarding unhelpful approaches will be your best friend in this process.

What to Expect

Practice Starter

This is our most in-depth and comprehensive service. For a lot of would-be private practitioners, there are tons of “what if” questions and concerns that float around their minds about the prospect of starting their very own private practice. That’s okay…I did that too. I work with you to discuss logistics, what kind of practice you’d like to have (e.g., solo, group, speciality/niche), and your proposed timeline to getting it up and running. We’ll also discuss marketing and branding approaches, including website and logo design (Note: this does not include the actual website and logo design, but it can be an add-on service if you’d like).

What to Expect

Credentialing Support

I’ll partner with you to identify the best insurance carriers that align with your professional goals and preferred client base. We’ll review expected timelines and factors that may influence which insurers are most likely to credential you. I’ll start by setting up your CAQH profile, a key pre-application step, and then proceed to apply to your chosen carriers. Once you’re successfully credentialed, we’ll discuss ongoing requirements and best practices for managing your accounts. I’ll also provide a brief overview of claim submission (CMS1500) to help ensure you receive timely payments with minimal denials or rejections.

What to Expect

As-Needed Consultation

If there are any additional topics or areas you’d like to address beyond our scheduled time, we can arrange extra sessions to cover them. This can be particularly beneficial for those navigating insurance credentialing, as the process can become complex, especially when it comes to submitting claims and ensuring timely payment.
